AVB and AVMC Series Wrench-operated Acetylene Valves

· Valve body made from rugged forging brass, precisely machined and gauged to ensure long service life

· Fusible metal pressure relief device cast directly into valve body for maximum retainment and cylinder protection

· Large wrench flats on valve body for easy installation

· Nylon insert in packing nut resists loosening and does not damage valve body threads

· Tough carbon steel alloy stem is as strong as stainless steel

· State-of-the-art corrosion-resistant plating on stem aids in maximum protection

· New Teflon® packing lasts up to ten times longer than graphite material

· Teflon packing has compression “memory,” reducing need for repetitive bonnet tightening
